Romance to me is reading the right thought or infusing the right thought into the right mood and displaying it physically. Put simply, you have to know your partner very well and do the right thing at the right time. Sending him a card when he desires something totally different simply wouldn’t work. You may be trying to be romantic with that gesture, but he doesn’t feel it. For me therefore, being romantic has to do with my mood, and being able to decode your partner’s mood is a prerequisite for successful romance treats. I would never forget one of the most romantic things I ever did. I travelled all the way from Ogun State to Lagos to see someone, but found out that he had travelled to Ife. I then took off and headed for Ife as late as 6pm and finally arrived Ife  at 1am. I just needed to see him, nothing more…he was so impressed.
