Exclusive Gathering 01

Genevieve Gathering 1

In a setting where the bright morning sun met soaring dreams, Genevieve magazine held her first quarterly Genevieve Gatherings on “Empowering Women Entrepreneurs.” Held at the prestigious Victoria Crown Hotel, the turn out was impressive. The women had one thing in common…the desire to be the best they can possibly be!
They got the right push as the five compelling facilitators blew the whistle on the truths and myths of entrepreneurship.
The speakers of the day- Lanre Olusola, a Life Coach and Peak Performance Catalyst; Leke Alder of Alder Consulting; Nike Ogunlesi, Ruff ‘n’ Tumble; Jumoke Adenowo, AD Consulting; and Dr. Doyin Abiola, Chairman Integrated Micro-finance Bank wowed the women, setting their minds and hearts ablaze with passion.
The cheery welcome speech by Mrs. Betty Irabor set the pace for the rest of the day. “Let’s go break some eggs…” the Editor-in-Chief instructed, as she encouraged each woman to get up and go.
Starting the first session was Lanre Olusola whose words on ‘purpose and passion’ were uplifting and enriching; challenging the women to live purposeful lives.
Full of gusto, with a lucid obsession for the uncommon, Leke Alder gave the women something deep to think about with his presentation on ‘starting and building a business.’
Tea break over, Dr. Doyin Abiola took the women through ‘Mentoring’ highlighting its many advantages.
Nike Ogunlesi was entertaining, fun, and full of wit as she told her own story and offered the women valuable tips..
Jumoke Adenowo’s presentation was simply inspiring especially as clips of her various charities were beamed to the house.
On the whole, it was a well worth seminar as participants went home feeling renewed and energised and fuelled with the desire to get up and go! DVDs of the seminar are available to order. Please book yours now. Call 08034793008.
